I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. Despite being in a beautiful location just above the village, the prices were very reasonable. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the well-appointed rooms with stunning views over the valley, to the luxurious spa bath in each room at no extra charge. The breakfast, with fresh eggs from their own garden, was a delightful start to the day.
All was perfect, nothing could be improved.

The Villa Aimee was an amazing place to stay and relax with great facilities such as the lovely terrace and pool. Leila the host was incredibly friendly and assisted us on many occasions to book and plan activities with ease. The 2-meter bed in the Medi room was so big and so comfortable. The complementary wine, bought, and mints were all very delicious and very much appreciated.
Nothing not to love.

Val les Bains is a small spa town set in a narrow valley amongst wooded hills near Aubanas. The Villa Aimee, a house of character, is set overlooking the center of the town. The garden and pool are built on terraces. The atmosphere is welcoming, very relaxed and addaptable, and the rooms are large, well appointed and comfortable. Our hostess is Australian (hence the relaxed style) and our host French, and a lover of art. Nothing was too much trouble in spite of their busy lives, and their home is facinating. It is of course their home, but the guest rooms have their own privacy and a seperate entrance. No evening meal was available, but breakfast was very generous. A charming and interesting no-pressure stay.
The charm of the Villa Aimee is well worth the clearly signed but steepish drive/walk up the hillside to it. Because of the narrowness of the valley traffic noise in the town echoes up the hillside and can be distracting at times during the day, but at night all was quiet.

A gem of a place to stay in the cool spa town of Vals les Bains. Ideally placed to allow father & son to Booked.net down the Ardeche, while mum and younger child enjoyed the luxury pool & loungers, and browsed the coffee bars and the market in the town square just below the Villa. After only a 2-day stay we felt like part of the family, and would definitely plan to return.

I recently had an amazing stay at this hotel nestled on a hill just above a charming village. The location was simply breathtaking, surrounded by stunning nature. The rooms were tastefully decorated and had a spa bath with views over the valley. The attention to detail was commendable, with fresh roses and a bottle of local mineral water in the room. The breakfast, which included fresh eggs from their own garden, was a delightful way to start the day.
Everything was spot-on!

I recently had the pleasure of staying in a charming European-style accommodation with a touch of Australian coolness. the location was perfect, just a short stroll away from everything I needed in the village and away from the tourist crowds. the room was wonderful, spacious, with a comfortable bed and a luxurious spa tub. the friendly staff provided an excellent service, and the breakfast was to die for, with fresh local and homemade products. it was a fantastic experience and an excellent value for my money.
The noise level from outside was slightly high for light sleepers.

We had a fantastic time on our romantic escape! The room we stayed in was just perfect and had everything we needed – the fluffy pillows and the soft sheets were a dream come true. The location was amazing, walking distance to all the best restaurants and shops. We also loved the fact that we could enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub after a long day exploring. And the breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh bread and local cheeses. We couldn't have asked for more!
Honestly, we didn't have any negative experiences during our stay. The only thing we wish we could have done is to stay longer – it was just that perfect.

We spent our New Year's Eve at a guesthouse located in a charming little town in between the Ardeche and Dordogne regions. We enjoyed the cozy rooms and the warm welcome from the hosts. The breakfast was amazing with homemade pastries and locally-sourced jams. , we had a great view of the town from our room and could easily explore the nearby restaurants and shops.
We found that the property lacked a bit of personality and personal touch. It was nice and comfortable, but we didn't feel like we were staying somewhere unique or memorable.
